Max Friedman: Hudson Valley Hero
Attorney Max Friedman, a partner in the New York office of Goulston & Storrs, specializes in real estate development, with a particular emphasis on projects with a substantial public or non-profit component. His expertise has been invaluable during the complex negotiations involving our Long Dock Beacon project, where he has provided hundreds of hours of pro bono legal services since 2001. Last year, Mr. Friedman also helped the Nature Conservancy close on its purchase of the last large, unprotected holding in the Adirondacks - 161,000 acres of unspoiled wilderness.
Max Friedman
“Scenic Hudson's approach to preservation is very smart. Long Dock Beacon is a great example. It proves that an environmentally sensitive development and respect for the river do not need to be mutually exclusive.”
