PLANTING SEEDS: Inspiration in Every Tree

I took this picture during a jog through Central Park this weekend. I had to stop running, take out my phone and snap this shot as I couldn't let the moment pass without a photo. I am always amazed at how uplifting time spent outdoors can be.
So as a departure from negative and scary news stories, I want to focus on something as uplifting to me as this tree. Watch this young boy, Felix Finkbeiner, founder of Plant-for-the-Planet speak about his objective of planting a billion trees around the world. It's impressive stuff and it motivates me to not only get outside more to appreciate all the beauties of nature, but also to ask myself what I can do to protect our environment. I want to go join up with Felix!
Enjoy these beautiful days of Spring!
